One Printer.
Too Many Ideas.

How a stubborn desktop machine and a folder of wild sketches became a print farm shipping bold objects worldwide.

Where it started

Forty Failed Prints,
One Mug That Popped

CPM 3D began in a spare room in 2021 with one secondhand printer, a spool of teal filament, and a sketchbook full of objects that didn’t exist yet. The first thirty-nine prints warped, stringed, or collapsed. The fortieth — a stacked rainbow mug — came off the plate perfect, and we haven’t stopped printing since.

Today the spare room is a studio, the one printer is a farm of machines, and every piece still follows the same rule: if it doesn’t make you grin on the shelf, it doesn’t ship.

How a Piece Gets Made

01

Sketch

Every piece starts on paper — usually with too much personality.

02

Model & Slice

We sculpt it digitally and tune every layer line for the printer.

03

Print

Your order fires up a nozzle — nothing is printed before you click buy.

04

Hand Finish

Sanded, sealed and inspected at the finishing bench. Every single one.

05

Ship

Carefully packed and delivered right to your door.

Printed responsibly

Loud Colors,
Quiet Footprint

Making things on demand means we never print a piece nobody wants. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • Premium-grade materials selected for durability and color
  • Made to order — zero overstock, zero landfill markdowns
  • Empty spools collected and recycled in-studio
  • Plastic-free packaging, printed misfires reground
